Inside the Grammer Guitar Factory

Here's a great photo from inside the Grammer Guitar factory. The calendar say's October, 1970 - the day that the first Merle Haggard signature model Grammer was completed. That's Roy Wiggins playing the Merle and Gene Martin sitting on his knee. In the back row (L - R) is Sam Crumley, Jimmie Brasiere, and standing is Bob Kujala, the shop foreman. Bob did all the great inlay work on the Haggard guitar. This was when Ampeg was making the Grammer guitar. All the guys in the back row are wearing Grammer Guitar workshirts.
